Horizon Treatment Programs are so Successful Because: Drug and alcohol rehab programs at Horizon Recovery and Counseling Center have been designed to offer comprehensive addiction treatment in a variety of forms to meet the spiritual, physical, and psychological needs of each individual. There are two distinct 12-Step drug and alcohol addiction treatment programs offered by Horizon Recovery and Counseling Center: Christian and Traditional. Christian based rehab programs present a Christ-centered, biblical approach to recovery. Traditional rehab programs are for the individuals who are at a variety of different stages in his or her journey of faith and are based on God as the individual may currently understand Him (as presented in the program of Alcoholics Anonymous). Horizon staff, Horizon Recovery is a type of program that worked for me. I didn’t feel it was an option for me to spend 4 to 6 weeks away from my work. I went to Horizon because it was an IOP (intensive out patient) program. After many years of alcohol use, and trying to quit on my own. I learned that there is more to addiction than to just stop drinking. I have come to believe that you can’t quit and have a complete and healthy recovery on your own. I liked the fact that Christianity and God was a part of the program and that my personal counselor was a Christian. |

Dear Horizon staff, Words cannot describe how happy it makes me to be able to write this letter. Today makes one year and nine months of continuous sobriety. This is the first time I can say this since I was twelve years old! My life is so much better now. I have a great relationship with God and my family again after many years of not having one at all.
